• President’s Report

    All’s quiet on the homefront.   Insurance Issues: Health care and insurance issues are being taken care of individually. Brian worked tirelessly to get refunds for co-pays that were incorrect. Be vigilant and call the office if there is a discrepancy   Reimbursement procedures- First come with all paperwork, first served. Not a great procedure and was changed without input, but it is their right to change.   Officer for next year: Need to get a recruitment plan in place; Danielle will be stepping down.

  Motion to approve the budget made by Laurie, second by Siobhan. Motion carried.

• Instructional Council Topics that come up often get diverted to Principal’s Liaison. More time will be spent analyzing Instructional issues that need resolutions.

     

• Grievance Two grievances- both have been resolved. If you are being asked to do something that you question as part of your job description, please see a Rep.

• Pride  Proposals have been submitted and all have been approved except for the end of year social. We were significantly over budget and were asked to wait and see of other projects would come in under budget. The Breakfast for Bravery came in over $400 under budget, and Mtn. Way will not be purchasing food for their events, which is another $400 savings. NJEA will be contacted with the adjustments and resubmit the proposal for the Community Luncheon.

     

• MCCEA Rockaway Mall Project 2018:  Larissa submitted report:  the week-long event will be held at the Rockaway Mall starting Sunday, April 8th; we will again have 2 tables for each school to display students’ work; please save projects through the year, so we can show off all the amazing work we and our students do; more info to come; if you have any questions, please contact Larissa
